Sometimes it's the little things we do that make a big difference to someone who's experiencing a mental health problem - like having a chat over a cuppa, sending a text or inviting someone out.
So, on 'Time to Talk Day' we’re encouraging people to do just that.
Wigan & Leigh College Students’ Union are doing their bit by hosting a ‘Time to Talk Tea Party’ on Thursday 6th February from 10am to 12noon in PS105.
There will be an opportunity for staff and students at Parson’s Walk Centre to have a cup of tea and a chat (with free biscuits of course), and share their experiences.
The event will also be attended by representatives from Student Services, the Mental Health Support team and our NHS Health Trainer to promote services in College that support the emotional wellbeing of all staff and students.
Please come along, and let all of your mates know where to find us if they’re interested in playing their part in having one of the one million conversations that Time to Change will be encouraging people all across the UK to have.
