Students' Union Staff Awards

This is the second round of Student Staff Awards. Our main nominees were Stacey Forsyth-Duffy, Vivien Fenton, Stephen Christie, Karen Ashurst, Warren Turley, Natasha Hart, Debbie Walford, Ben Waite and Keith Sumner.

Students Nominated the staff member for numerous different reasons.

Vivien Fenton, Stacey Forsyth-Duffy and Stephen Christie as well as receiving a certificate to recognise their achievements were presented with trophies. These top 3 were picked, due to students' taking the time to write the most heartfelt testimonials about them.

Students described Stacey Forsyth-Duffy from Performing Arts as being "supportive, nurturing and caring and goes the extra mile" alongside " she has the best sense of humour and banter which makes lessons fun."

Travel and tourism tutor; Vivien Fenton was described as "the most inspiring tutor I have ever met...2 years ago I had no idea where I wanted to be when I leave, but Viv has opened my eyes to a wide range of opportunity after I leave college." another student said "she is always pushing me to achieve more!" and another said "she makes a bad day good...she truly is fabulous!"

Students said of Media Technician Stephen Christie "He is a fountain of knowledge and, despite being in very high demand around the campus, he is always cheerful and willing to take the time to help anyone...he is the reason I have stuck to it, even when things have been going badly. He is a legend"
