Green Impact
Green Impact is a scheme supported by the National Union of Students that attempts to try and make colleges, universities, and students' unions greener and more sustainable. Wigan and Leigh Students' Union signed up to the scheme in September 2014.
From recycling, to encouraging biodiversity, or Fairtrade, we will be lobbying college managers, running campaigns, events and activities that raise awareness and encourage staff and students across college to think about and change their behaviours to make our communities and our world a fairer, safer and cleaner place to live.
