Leukemia and Lymphoma Research is a UK blood cancer charity. Every year they collect money from money donations that goes towards new research to help stop people from money donations that goes towards new research to help stop people from developing blood cancer. The charity improves the lives of patients with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma myeloma. The charity has been working to beat bloody cancer for over 50 years and they won't stop until they do!
Zoe Molyneux said of the event and her reasons from choosing this charity "Fundraising for Leukemia Lymphoma Research means a lot personally as my Uncle has Leukemia, and is clear from it. Knowing that you're helping to prevent an illness such as blood cancer is a good feeling, and knowing that the money you raise goes to something positive. Since raising for the charity I've met a few people who have been effected by blood cancer, one was a young boy in Manchester who is thankfully now in remission. The people I have met have been very inspirational and regardless of their treatment, they continue to do fun things with their family and friends."
We were situated in the new couryard over at Parson's Walk, it was a glorious warm and sunny day and we thank all those that were involved!
