They hope to use the project to engage and educate the wider student community in order to:

 

 

1. Share their products, and help the whole beauty department at Wigan & Leigh College to ‘Go Green’. 

Using 100% organic products, and reducing overall waste will set a precedent for other colleges with beauty departments and have a lasting, beneficial impact upon both students entering the beauty industry and the clients that they work with.

 

2. Educate other learners

The students hope to reach as many learners across college as possible with their products by offering treatments at Students’ Union events such as the Fresher’s Fair, awareness raising events and campaigns.

 

 

3. Educate the Community

The students will be offering free treatments in the community, and reach out to those in most need of support for their health and well-being.
